Urinalysis Systems

The iQ^®200 Automated Urinalysis System (iQ200 System) and the iQ^®200 Sprint™ Automated Urinalysis System (iQ200 Sprint System) are user-friendly, bench top, fully automated systems that perform complete urinalyses on un-spun specimens; simply load, press START and walk away. The iQ200 Series of Systems incorporate the iQ200 Automated Urine Microscopy Analyzer (iQ200 or iQ200 Sprint) and the AUTION MAX™ AX-4280 Automated Urine Chemistry Analyzer (AX-4280) to provide a fully integrated chemical and microscopic analysis. The iQ200 Series uses Auto-Particle Recognition (APR™), a well-trained neural network, to classify and quantitate twelve formed elements. The results can be auto-reported based on user-defined criteria. The images captured may be viewed on demand at the workstation monitor, dramatically reducing the need for manual microscopy and improving laboratory productivity. The AX-4280 provides a twelve-test profile including nine chemistries, specific gravity by refractometer, color and clarity. The chemistry and microscopy results are collated and can be viewed on the workstation screen.

The design of the iQ200 Series of System allows it to maximize workflow efficiency in the clinical laboratory setting. Samples are processed automatically with a unique transfer system that moves the specimens from the AX-4280 to the iQ200, providing for true walk away operation. The iQ200 operates at 60 samples per hour and the iQ200 Sprint operates at 101 samples per hour and can accommodate up to 210 samples using the optional load and unload stations available through Iris Diagnostics.
