Overview: The iQ Body Fluids Module is an in-vitro diagnostic device used to examine and count red blood cells and nucleated cells in cerebrospinal fluid and serous fluids. This Module is available for use on all iQ200 Series Analyzers.

Technical Description: The iQ Body Fluids Module allows for simple, flexible automation of body fluids with results in 3 minutes or less per sample. You can process body fluid and urine samples together without changes to the analyzer or operator intervention while reducing processing time, allowing highly-skilled technologists to perform other tasks and increase productivity. Great accuracy and sensitivity quantify red blood cells and nucleated cells with linearity from "zero to whole blood" with appropriate dilution.

The broad menu gives you the opportunity to analyze 7 different fluid types:

			Peritoneal Lavage

			Synovial (under development)

Digital imaging technology allows users to confirm the presence / absence of bacteria and crystals and small sample volume requirements conserve valuable specimens for any additional analyses that may be requested.
